Today i'm sharing a new card for a new to me challenge. Cards in Envy Challenge is for cards that fit in A2 envelopes and that can be mailed, the current challenge is Banners.
I started by using The Alley Way Stamps new set Nessie, first i cut out three banners with PTI's mini banners die from white card stock. I stamped each of the Nessie monster stamps on the banners. Then colored them with Copic markers.
I punched tiny holes in the banners and threaded some black twine through. I tied each end in a knot. Next i cut a panel of blue card stock with a stitched rectangle and stamped and masked the Party sentiment from the TAWS Bubbly set. Since i wanted the banner at the top and party wouldn;t fit across the panel (and i didn;t want to make the card horizontal) i masked it and broke up the word to fit vertically on the panel.
I colored the letters with some copics and then outlined the letters with a black sparkle pen (not that you can really see this in the photos!)
I used a black marker and added faux stitching around the purple card base. I added the rectangle panel with foam dots and last added banner. A perfect little card to pop in the mail for a little boy who likes cute monsters!!
Thanks for stopping by!!

Oh, this is a great "party" card just perfect for the Cards in Envy "Banner" challenge. The rounded banners match just right for the snake who slithers across it's top. Thanks for sharing this with us and we hope to see you again at our next challenge!
