Oh, Ship

Hey there!!

So i had planned to post a video, but i was ahead of the game and can;t post it till Tuesday, so..... instead i'll share another card i completed for The Online Card Class: Stenciled. I used embossing past and embossing powder!! And i like it!!! hehe

Ok so i used a polka-dot stencil and added white embossing paste. Before it dried i added aged silver and aged gold (alternating) embossing powder. I waited for the paste to dry, then melted the powder. I really like how it makes the embossing powder look thicker, when its really just one coat!

Next i stamped and embossed the sentiment on black card stock. Die cut a label shape and stamped the ship on it. I also stamped a word bubble and stamped the cussing in white ink.

I trimmed my background and mounted it on black card stock. Added the sentiment strip, ship label and word bubble. I really love how this card turned out!!

  5. Love this card. I was looking at that stamp set for a while but was baffled as to how to present this card to someone.. sentiment wise. maybe a Just Because type of card?
