Make It Stop!

Hello!!

I'm popping in to share a card i made a couple moths ago, its been kickin' around my desk for awhile just waiting for its time on the blog. This Newton's Nook set Winter Tails is so cute!! I love winter and the snow so its the perfect set for me! I really needed this set last winter, it was just under the record for snowfall!!

Anyway, i started by stamping the bunny holding the snow shovel and the sign. I used versamark and embossed the images with clear embossing powder. I also stamped the Make it Stop! sentiment in the sign and embossed it.

Next used Copic markers to color the bunny and sign. I colored the shovel with pink and red distress markers as i didn;t have red copic markers yet. I also stamped some of the snow banks around the bunny and sign, then cut around everything. I added a little shadow with a grey copic marker, then added some glitter glue.

On a white card base i stamped and embossed in clear, several snowflakes. Then with an ink applicator and light blue distress ink i colored the card base. I added the cut out panel with foam tape.

Thanks so much for stopping by!! You still have time to enter my giveaway here!

  1. Hi Dana: Had a peek at all your cards - really like your clean style. This card is so cute with the bunny up to his nose in snow, and great colouring too! Stamping Hugs, Sharon

  4. I love your clever design. Good idea to use the distress markers. What I really hear you saying is that you are pining for more Copics! I did that a couple of years ago. I would go to Hobby Lobby with my 40% off coupon and then have to choose just ONE to make the whole thing less financially astronomical. Over a couple of years, birthdays, and Christmases, it did finally happen!
