The Alley Way Stamps - Sneak Peek #2

Hello!!

Its time for a new release over at The Alley Way Stamps, today i have a sneak peek of the new stamp set Tootharina! The full reveal is this Saturday!
Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - The Alley Way Stamps
I started with a mint ombre paper and placed a stencil over it. I added some transparent embossing paste, then set it aside to dry. Meanwhile i die cut a piece of white card stock and then stamped the Tootharina fairy in black.

I colored her with copic markers. For her skirt i stamped her a few more times on scrap card stock and colored just a row on each one, skipping the petals too. I cut out each petal and added them to my fairy from the bottom up with foam dots. Rather then adding the skirt as a whole, i think adding each petal individually adds a bit of texture! Before adding the panel to my card base i stamped the sentiment Tootharina above the fairy.

When the embossing paste was dry i added my fairy panel to the card with foam dots. To finish off the card i added a few mint and purple sequins! Oh and i added a little Wink of Stella to the skirt and wings!

  5. Every petal of her skirt added one by one? Oh my! You're right though: doing so adds such wonderful texture to this oh-so-sweet image! Another super sweet card, my friend!
