Hello!!
I'm popping in with a card I made a couple weeks ago for fun! I needed a break from DT work and found A Blog Named Hero's blog challenge and decided to play along. The challenge is birthday cards!!
I hadn't inked up Hero Arts Dress Up stamp set yet and it seemed like the perfect time to do so!! In fact, as I was making this card I went ahead and used made a few more similar card. The set has two girls with a few different faces and three skirts. Eventually, I hope to get around to sharing the other cards!!
I did a little bit of watercolor smooshing on a big piece of watercolor card stock. I used Marvy #28 English Rose for the pink color. I used one of the skirt dies once the panel was dry.
Then I stamped, colored and fussy cut one of the girls. I also added a little flower from the set to her skirt. I adhered her to a pink rectangle with foam tape, then layered it on some kraft cardstock. Then finally onto a white card base. Since I ended up doing up the other images and skirts on the other cards, I kept the layout basic! Last I stamped the have a Beautiful Birthday below the pink rectangle!!
Thanks so much for stopping by!!
Dana
