The Alley Way Stamps September Blog Hop

It's time for new stamps at The Alley Way Stamps!! See below for the details on how you can win all 3 new stamp sets!! My card features stamps from the It's My Party stamp set!

I started with a purple card base, a stencil and some clear embossing paste. After applying the paste and removing the stencil i added chunky gold glitter to the embossing paste, lightly pressing the glitter into the paste.

Once the paste was dry i tapped off the extra glitter, i even used a dry paint brush to help brush off any loose glitter. Next i cut a strip of black card stock and stamped the Birthday Wishes sentiment in white ink. Then i adhered the strip to my card base.

Next i stamped the super cute turtle holding a present. I colored her with Spectrum Noir Markers, then fussy cut her out. then is stamped the balloon three times, colored them and cut them out. One balloon i colored with a Gold Wink of Stella pen

Last i added the turtle and the balloons to the card, tucking the balloon strings behind the turtle.

Can you believe that it's almost September?!?! The end of the month means a new The Alley Way Stamps release!! Whoo Hoo!! Have you seen the sneak peeks so far? My card features an image from the new Flap Happy stamp set!! If you love birds this set is for you!!! I went with the super cute owl, and decided to make it into a Halloween card!

I started by stamping the owl on a white circle, then colored him with my Spectrum Noir markers. Next i found a Halloween glitter sticker sheet that i'm pretty sure i've had forever!! Now was the time to use it!!

The spooky sentiment was perfect against the black woodgrain pattern paper i decided to use. I added the orange circle to the card with foam tape. Then i added the orange spooky one letter at a time, the S went on the circle and the rest on the card.  In the sticker sheet there were small black glitter stars and i scattered several around the card.

Hello!!

Crafter's Companion has a new Christmas die release!! Just gorgeous dies and i have two projects to share with you!

The first is from the Die'sire Prestige Christams Only Words Collection! This die is an ornament with the word Christmas inside. I decided it would make a great ornament!! And its super easy and can be dressed up however you want!!

I started by die cutting the ornament from some Crafter's Companion's Shimmering Cardstock, Black Pearl. Then i used some liquid adhesive to adhere the ornament to some Green Envy Shimmering Cardstock. When it's dry, i just used some scissors and cut really close to the black ornament!

Next i just trimmed out the green card stock from the top to make the opening and then threaded some green twine yarn through it.

Then to dress up my ornament i added some very light green pearls and then used a Liquid Pearl to add tiny dots above and below the Christmas sentiment. The dots are already embossed from the die, so adding the Liquid Pearl is super easy!!

My next project features the Season's Greetings die from Die'sire Classiques Christmas Only Words Collection.  I started by making a card from Crafter's Companion Watercolor Cardstock.  From the front of the card i die cut the Season's Greetings.

With the die cut sentiment i used Spectrum Aqua markers and some water to color the sentiment Purple. For the snowflakes on the die i color them with the Navy marker.

For the background i used Aquamarine marker to watercolor the card base (with cut out). once it was dry adhered some black cardstock to the BACK of the front card. So now you can see black card stock through the shaped hole form the sentiment die cut.

Next i adhered the purple sentiment die cut to the black card stock, it fits into the whole i cut earlier. Then i added some sequins to the background and the snowflakes. For a little sparkle i added tiny dots of glitter glue.

Merry Christmas

I hope everyone is have a great day!! I'm stopping by with a Christmas card, i have to say i'm on a roll!! No shortage of Christmas cards here!!

I used Penguins on Parade to make my little penguin a Rudolph!! I stamped him and then used my Spectrum Noir Markers to color him.

Next i used red card stock and a Simon Says Stamp die to cut the photo frame out. I also used some pattern paper that looks like snow to me and added it to a white card base.

Then i just added the frame with foam tape and the penguin inside the frame.

This is my second post today, click here if you are looking for my Art Impressions post.

I have a couple sneak peeks to share with you today! (This is a long photo heavy post)  Crafter's Companion have two die releases coming at the end of this week. These are beautiful detailed dies and are perfect for Holiday crafting!!

First i made a card featuring the Noel die from the Die'sire Prestige Christmas Only Words Collection. I used Crafter's Companion Watercolor card stock and the die, running it through my die cut machine. But i did not remove the die, instead i left the paper in the die and flipped it over.

Then with some water, a paint brush and Spectrum Aqua markers i colored the bells, leaves, branches, berries and the Noel in the middle. Only when it was dry did i remove the paper from the die. I missed a leaf hear or there, so i went in with more water color to color them in.

Next i found a green card base and added some wood tape across the front, horizontally. Then i wrapped some twine around the card and down the middle of the wood and tied it in a bow. Last i added the colored Noel die cut to the front of the card.

My next sneak peek is from the Die'sire Classiques Christmas Only Words Collection, Tis The Season. I cut the die from some Crafter's Companion Shimmering card stock, then die cut a circle from some black Shimmering card stock.

Then i dry embossed some CC's Kraft card stock with a wood grain embossing folder. I used a little distress ink to darken the panel. I wrapped the panel with some black glitter ribbon and tied it in a knot.

I added the wood grain panel to a black card base. Then i added the black circle and the green Tis The Season die cut.

Hello!

Today i'm on the Art Impression blog sharing a Halloween card for you! Fall is right around the corner and so is Halloween!! 

I started by die cutting a fancy rectangle from white card stock. Then i stamped the Tweeter stamp set. I just love the guy or gal dressed up in the bird costume! The sentiment is cute too!! I used my Spectrum Noir Colored Pencils to color the image. 

Then i cut a smaller fancy rectangle and stamped the sentiment on it. I set that and the colored image to the side to work on my background.

I used long thin triangle die to cut out some Halloween pattern paper. I used three different pattern papers and placed them on an orange card base. Once i was happy with the placement i used liquid glue to adhere the triangles down. Then i trimmed off the over hang.

Next i added the stamped image and sentiment to the card with foam tape and last added a few orange buttons.

Addicted to Stamps and More Challenge #159

Hello!

It's time for a new challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More!! The challenge this week is CAS and we have Bugaboo Stamps as a sponsor!

I used the Beach Crab - Scuba Dive digi stamp, resizing it a bit (thought it would be smaller!) and printed it out. I used Spectrum Noir markers to color the cute crab. Then i cut it out with a stitched rectangle.

Then i used a Lawn Fawn alphabet set to spell out Crabby. To get the Don't Be i used a small Alphabet to spell it out. I stamped the Don't Be, then added the Crabby with foam tape.

Last i added the panel to a aqua colored card base that matched the water i colored.
