You Saved the Day

Hello!

 I hope you all had a great weekend!! I did a lot of crafting this weekend that i will be sharing over the next couple of weeks. Today i have a featuring some new The Alley Way Stamps!

I started with some Ranger Watercolor paper, this is my first time using it! I used the rough side of the paper and found i really had to use lots of water to get the ink to spread around. I scribbled distress markers on a clear block and then added spritzes of water. Then i just smooshed the paper on the block.

I set the panel aside to dry while i stamped and colored one of the super penguins from the Happy Hero stamp set !! I used an SVG to first cut him out of white cardstock, then used Spectrum Noir markers to color him.

Next i die cut a thin frame from black card stock and adhered it to my water colored panel. I stamped the sentiment You Saved the Day inside the frame.

Then i added the penguin hero to the card with foam dots and last added a few sequins to the card.
