Hiya!!
I hope everyone had a great weekend!! I had to work, but i did some crafting and spent some time with my mom and brother, which meant staying away from the computer!! It was a nice break but now its back to regular scheduled programming (which means blog posting, photo editing, studying, blog reading!!) :D
One card i made this weekend (you should see my pile of card i need to blog about!! its over flowing!! hehe) was a card that came together nicely!! (love with that happens!!) I was digging in my overflow stash and found a cloud die cut and a circle die cut. When i saw them together i though about making the circle a sun and that's when i new i had the perfect stamp set to use with them!
I pulled out The Alley Way's Lighter then Air set. I stamped the hot air balloon on some pattern paper and paper pieced the balloon. Next i used some distress ink and an ink applicator to create my sun. I added a 3 tiny clear buttons to my cloud.
Next i found a die cut banner in my stash and stamped the sentiment Love is in the Air. Before adding all my elements i used a tiny heart stamp from Once Upon a Time and second generation stamped the heart in blue ink, but it was really light so i added a few more with first generation stamping!
I love the little scene i created, especially that i was able to use a some of my stash!!
Have a great day!!
Dana
