Yipee! Its release day at The Alley Way Stamps!!! There are 3 new sets plus a mini set free with a purchase over $40 (details are below!!) AND do you want a chance to win all 3 new sets?!?! Keep scrolling down!!
My card features the new set Big Chatter! I am just loving this set!!! Ok, well i say that about every set but still! This is an awesome release, what can i say!?!? LOL!!!
I started by inking up the big Congrats sentiment with white ink, i had to stamp it twice to get good opaque coverage! Next i stamped my flowers! For the centers i used the retro circle (a solid circle with a smaller one inside it) from the Big Chatter set. For the petals i used a small solid stamp that is from the new Fly By set.
I inked the flower centers with yellow ink and the petals with purple ink, using pigment ink for both colors! Then i used the 3 dots from Fly By ink them up with watermark ink.
Once everything was dry (and i didn't smudge anything, there by ruining the card, hehehe!) i added white sequins!

ReplyDeleteThank you for breaking down the process of this card. So many card bloggers assume that everyone knows everything. I have been struggling with a card that I wanted to use white ink on, but could never achieve the look. Now I know to stamp twice (or more). I'm not sure why I hadn't thought of that! Thank You for Sharing!
