Sitting... Laughing....

Hello!

Today i am on the Art Impressions blog with a card that features a new clear stamp set from Hobby Lobby!! It's called Live, Love, Laugh and it is a nice big set with a couple images and lots of sentiments!! You are definitely going to want to add this set to your collection!!

I started my card off by die cutting a notched banner from white card stock. Then i stamped the three sitting ladies with Memento black ink. Next i colored them up with Copic markers.

Next i decided to use a stencil for my background, first i cut a stitched rectangle from white card stock. Then i placed the stencil over the card stock and used washi tape to hold it in place. I decided to use my Copic markers to color the stencil, just one more way to use your Copics!!

I picked out the same colors i used to color the ladies and planed my pattern. Then i colored one row, then lifted the stencil up to peek under to make sure i liked what i saw. The Copics bleed a little, plus the nub can get under the stencil a little, but i like the imperfect look of it so i completed coloring the rest of the stencil.

Then i matted the panel on some black card stock and then adhered it to a white card base. I added the notched banner with foam tape to the card. Then i stamped the sentiment below the banner and last added a black button to the banner.

Thanks for stopping by!!!

Dana
